History

Rupit: It is a beautiful medieval town whose history dates back to the 9th century. It is one of the most beautiful towns in Catalonia with its beautiful medieval old town. The old town with its old farmhouses is the essential thing to see in Rupit.

Salt de Sallent waterfall:with a fall of more than 115 meters, it is the highest vertical waterfall in Catalonia.

Waterfall: (25mins walking from the center, low level) is the simplest excursion and one of the most beautiful to do in Rupit. In addition to enjoying the waterfall, throughout the tour there are also excellent views of the area and the valley through which the water flows after the great waterfall.

Tavertet It is a municipality in the Osona region, in the province of Barcelona. The town is located on top of a rock and next to a large precipice with views of the Sau reservoir and the Montseny mountains.

The entire town was declared a Site of Cultural Interest, with an urban nucleus that preserves forty houses built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and other Romanesque monuments, such as the church of Sant Cristòfol, the hermitage of Sant Corneli or the prehistoric settlement of Sant Bartolomeu Sesgorgues.
